The Indians had very little going for them offensively today with only two runs on six hits. Jordy Mercer had three of those hits in just as many at bats. Starling Marte also had a hit and scored a run as his average now sits at .269. Justin Wilson collected his third loss of the season by allowing three earned runs on five hits through five innings. Wilson struck out five and also walked five. Danny Moskos and Jared Hughes both pitched scoreless innings of relief. The other earned run of the game was given up by Daniel McCutchen on three hits and a walk.

At the plate, the Marauders had a pretty good night with Drew Maggi and Stefan Welch both collecting two hits a piece. Stefan Welch hit two home runs on the night, resulting in three RBIs. Alex Dickerson also hit a two run homer.
