The Indians couldn't get any offense going as they were shut out by the Rochester Red Wings. Starling Marte had two of the team's three hits, both singles. Daniel Cabrera started and gave up two runs in 6.1 innings on five hits. He struck out two and walked two. Opposing starter Liam Hendriks improved to 5-0 with a 1.94 ERA while striking out 10 in 8.2 innings pitched. True domination.

Brock Holt had two hits but the Curve could only record singles getting just one run. Brandon Cumpton pitched 6.1 strong innings giving up one run on two hits while striking out six. He walked four, which turned out to be the difference in his outing. Jhonathan Ramos gave up the winning run in the 9th on a walk off home run.

Alen Hanson, Kirk Singer, Junior Sosa, and Willy Garcia combined for nine hits including a double and Garcia knocked in four runs while homering as the e Power put on a beat down of the Asheville Tourists. Robby Rowland made another start and pitched five innings giving up three runs ons ix hits. Mike Jefferson pitched four innings of relief giving up two runs and striking out five.

Bradenton got a big game from Carlos Paulino who had three hits including a double and an RBI but couldn't hold the Hammerheads off the scoreboard as they went for a lucky 13 spot in the runs column. Gerrit Cole pitched five innings and gave up three runs while striking out six; he hasn't been very sharp lately - although that doesn't mean he's not progressing. Porfirio Lopez, Quinton Miller, and Josh Foster gave up 10 runs (7 earned) in four innings of relief.
