6/23 Recap | Pirates 4 Tigers 1

Your Buccos are streaking once again as they won their third straight game to push their record to six games over .500 on Saturday night.

The story was Brad Lincoln, who pitched five no-hit innings to start the game and ended by pitching six plus innings giving up just one run on two hits. He struck out a career high seven and got the Pirates another series win. Juan Cruz, Tony Watson, Jason Grilli, and Joel Hanrahan finished out the game with three innings of scoreless relief.

Andrew McCutchen was once again the offense. He hit a three run homer in the fourth inning to give the Pirates all they would need in terms of runs. Neil Walker added an insurance run on a single in the seventh which drove in Casey McGehee who doubled ahead of him.

Just another great team win, and there was never any real doubt about it.
