  • I've been bargaining for Kevin Correia to be removed from the rotation since the day he was placed in there, and after last night other people are starting to join the party. WHYGAVS has this post up, and Pirates Prospects has this one. If both of those guys think it's time for Correia to bounce, I'm thinking it's the right decision.
  • The "Mc" Effect mobile app is out for Android. Just search "The 'Mc' Effect" on your droid and download it for free. You can see a sample screen shot here.
  • Both Indianapolis and West Virginia were shut out yesterday. Starling Marte had a hit, and Alen Hanson went 0/4 with four strikeouts. Not going to see that very often. Here's the roundup
  • Pirates are in D.C. for a two game set with the Nationals. Gio Gonzalez and Jordan Zimmermann will go for the Nats and Erik Bedard and James McDonald toe the rubber for the Bucs. No reason the Pirates can't take both of these games, as the Nationals are really struggling offensively.
