5/15 Recap | Marlins 6 Pirates 2

The Pirates had their three game win streak snapped tonight with a 6-2 loss to the Miami Marlins. Kevin Correia looked awful for the Pirates, and he might be getting towards the end of his days as a starter after the performance by Brad Lincoln last night. Correia only threw 3.2 innings allowing six runs on eight hits, and only struck out one. Chris Resop, Tony Watson, and Jared Hughes were all able to throw shutout outings but the damage had already been done.

The offense was just about shut down tonight. Only six hits were picked up altogether and other than Garrett Jones RBI single and Michael McKenry's solo home run, the Pirates had a rough night at the plate. The six hits went to Jose Tabata, Neil Walker, Andrew McCutchen, Pedro Alvarez, Garrett Jones, and Michael McKenry.

The Bucs will head to Washington for a two game series after splitting the two games they played with the Marlins.
