Starling Marte picked up his first hit tonight after returning to the lineup, but the Indians were only able to add two more to make a total of three hits on the day. Jose Morales and Brandon Boggs were the only others to join the hit club. Jeff Locke got the start and allowed three runs, two earned, in seven innings of work.Locke gave up six hits and struck out six.

Robbie Grossman had a two RBI night while going 1-5 on the night.Matt Curry also collected two RBIs while going 1-4 with a triple. Tim Alderson made the start for the Curve and pitched fairly well, going six innings and only allowing three runs on six hits with a walk and three Ks. Shairon Martis and Mike Colla both recorded scoreless relief appearances.

Alen Hanson might have had his worst game of the year today, going 0-4 with four strikeouts. Other than that the Power were unable to muster up any offense at all. Dan Gamache and Chris Lashmet both had extra base hits. Matt Benedict took the Mound for the Power, allowing all three earned runs across 5.2 innings of work. Benedict walked four and struck out three.
