Rudy Owens had yet another great start for Indy on Sunday as he pitched through eight solid innings. Owens allowed two runs on five hits, both of those runs came from a two run homer in the fifth inning. Unfortunately though, Owens was tagged with a loss as the Indians offense was unable to muster up anything. Chase d'Arnaud and Gorkys Hernandez both had doubles.

AA Altoona | Erie 4 Altoona 2
Matt McSwain got the start for Altoona, going five innings and giving up all four runs on eight hits. Victor Black and Duke Welker both threw scoreless relief appearances. At the plate, Robbie Grossman was 0-4 with an RBI, and the other RBI on the night came from Matt Curry as a part of his 1-4 night.

A West Virginia | West Virginia 3 Charleston 1
Alen Hanson hit his fifth homer of the year on Sunday as the last place Power were able to squeek by with a win. Jose Osuna also had a big night, going 3-3 with a solo home run and a double. Zack Dodson had a nice start  for West Virginia, allowing only one run on one hit across six innings. Dodson struck out four. Josh Poytress followed up with three shutout innings.
