- The A.J. Burnett trade will be completed by Saturday, if it's completed at all. That seems to be the deadline, as the Yankees don't want to have him report to spring training while rumors are still swirling. I believe the deal will get done, just because the Yankees have very little choice at this point. The Pirates know that, and that's why this is taking so long.
