A.J. Burnett, the Pirates newest pitcher, fouled a ball off his right eye during a bunting competition today at Pirate City. Nobody thinks it's a serious thing, but either way he's flying to Pittsburgh tonight to have it looked at.
Who knows, maybe an eye patch is all Burnett needs to really become a Pirate.
