Cryin' Lyin' Ryan

As if this offseason wasn't going well enough for the Pirates with the departure of Albert Pujols and eventual departure of Prince Fielder, things just got better last night.

I know you have all heard the news, but I'll say it again anyway just because it's really fun to type and read. Ryan Braun tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs and faces a 50-game suspension.

The saddest part of all of this is Braun's reaction. This guy had the nerve to come out and say that if he was on steroids, he would have hit "60 or 70 home runs" last year. WHAT IS THIS DUDE'S DEAL. Nobody has hit 60 home runs since Barry Bonds did it in 2001. That's ten years. Braun really thinks he's as good as Bonds? The guy is a complete idiot and he deserves no sympathy whatsoever.

There are a ton of talks about this really being a flawed result and there is a chance that Braun will be found innocent or whatever, but that's never happened before, so don't count on it.

This is absolute great news for Pirate fans, not only because it makes the Brewers a lot worse for the first 50 games, but now everyone is going to hate Ryan Braun just like we already do.

Here's some more posts about this, because I know you don't want to stop thinking about it:
