Pirates 2011 Offense & Starting Pitching Update

If you have been following The "Mc" Effect this season, you have probably seen my game-by-game offense/starting pitching updates I've been doing all year. I haven't updated in over a week, so here's the current numbers:

The team batting average has risen substantially recently and it is up to .246, that'll happen when you average almost 9 hits a game over a 10-game stretch. The bats may be coming alive, and the Pirates are in a real good spot at 45-42 right now. Tougher competition coming up after the all-star break, but for now let's enjoy.
