Brewers vs. Pirates, Series Preview

The Pirates are winners of 3 straight and are sporting a solid 5-1 record at PNC Park so far. That bodes well for them as the Milwaukee Brewers come to town for a 3-game set. Let's take a look at what the Brewers have done so far:

How they got here:
  • Took 2 of 3 from the Rockies at home.
  • Lost 2 of 3 to the Cardinals at home
  • Lost 2 of 3 to the Cubs on the road
  • Lost 2 of 3 to the Nationals on the road
All-in-all I see no reason why the Pirates can't win this series. They have been playing decent baseball at home so far this season and there is still a lot of room for improvement. It would be really nice to see Jones and Doumit to hit the ball a little better this series, that is going to be a key to how we perform this year and it would be nice to see them bust out of their slumps quicker rather than slower. First game is tomorrow at 7:05, I'm heading down to the game but check back here for the liveblog! Let's Go Bucs!
