10 Spot | Pirates 10 Tigers 1

The Pittsburgh Pirates are 1-0 in interleague play this year. That's pretty good.

Neil Walker drove in 5 runs, Lyle Overbay homered, and Jeff Karstens gave up 1 run in 6 innings and took a no-hitter into the 5th.

It was the first 10-run performance of the year for the Pirates, and one of their few easy wins this year.

Seriously, the Pirates made this one look simple. Karstens was breezing all night, he had 2 innings where he threw less than 10 pitches and was making hitters look silly up there. You know something's up with this team when Karstens is pitching as good as he has been consistently.

The Pirates have bounced back from their 6-game losing streak in perfect fashion so far, with 3 straight impressive wins. They're now 21-23 and will look to win the series tomorrow night.

That's all the time I have. McCheck back tomorrow.
