AAA Indianapolis | Toledo 5 Indianapolis 1
The Indians got just four hits. Jordy Mercer doubled and Starling Marte tripled in a run and the team left eight men on base in a lackluster performance at the dish. Justin Wilson made the start and went five innings giving up three runs on two hits while walking six and striking out six. Daniel McCutchen and Shairon Martis gave up runs in their innings of relief and Bryan Morris struck out four batters in one inning of relief thanks to a dropped third strike that the hitter reached base on.

AA Altoona | Altoona 4 Erie 2
Brock Holt, Jarek Cunningham, and Tony Sanchez all collected two hits in the Curve's second win of the year. Cunningham and Sanchez joined Andrew Lambo with the games only extra base hits, all of which were doubles. The Curve got behind 2-0 after the second inning but scored a run in the third, two in the fifth, and one more in the eighth while collecting 11 hits. Nathan Baker made the start and went five strong innings giving up two runs on two hits and collecting five strikeouts. Tim Alderson pitched two scoreless innings with three strikeouts.

A Bradenton | St. Lucie 5 Bradenton 1
Gift Ngoepe tripled and Carlos Paulino, Dan Grovatt, and Evan Chambers all doubled but the Marauders couldn't get more than a run across in a loss that brought their record to 1-1. A.J. Burnett made the rehab start and struck out five batters in 4.2 innings while giving up a run on two hits. Tyler Waldron was the real culprit here giving up four runs in 2.2 innings of relief.

A West Virginia | West Virginia 5 Hagerstown 3
Alen Hanson had another good day at the plate collecting two hits including a double and an RBI. Josh Bell also had a two hit game but struck out three times with no extra base hits. Stetson Allie made the start for the Power and was awful. He walked four batters and gave up two runs without surrendering a hit all the while recording just one out before being taken out of the game. Michael Jefferson did a nice job in relief going 4.1 innings giving just one run.
