Chase d'Arnaud had his first two hits of the season in yet another win against the Phillies AAA team. d'Ardnaud  also had two RBIs. Gorkys Hernandez hit his second home run in as many days while also collecting two RBIs. Brandon Boggs also had a nice night going two for four. On the mound, Justin Wilson made a terrific start, throwing six innings of three hit shutout ball. Wilson struck out six and walked one. Tim Wood and Bryan Morris both had scoreless outings.

AA Altoona |  Game 1 - Bowie 7 Altoona 4
In game started on Tuesday night, but suspended due to rain, the Curve were unable to finish it out for the win. Kris Johnson pitched the 3.2 innings on Tuesday night, and allowed four runs, three earned, on six hits. He struck out six batters in his short appearance. Tim Alderson picked up the game on Wednesday morning for the next three innings, and let up three runs on five hits. At the plate, Robbie Grossman had another hitless game, but drew two walks. Tony Sanchez was one for four with three RBIs and a double.

The Curve sent out Mike Colla for the first six innings of a shortened, seven inning ballgame. He gave up all four runs on five hits, and only struck out two. Brock Holt had a nice night at the plate, going two for three. The only RBI of the night came from Jaremy Farrell.

The Marauders winning streak ended on Wednesday as they fell to the Threshers. Colton Cain started the game and allowed five runs, four earned, in 5.1 innings of work. Mel Rojas, Dan Grovatt, and Wes Freeman all had two hit nights for the team. Stefan Welch was one for four with a solo homer run.
