- Neil Walker was in the original lineup but was a late scratch because of lower back tightness. Nothing to worry about, but he's listed as day-to-day just out of precaution.
- This will be the first time the Pirates do not use the DH. Let's hope Karstens doesn't hurt himself bunting.
- Pedro Alvarez is back in the lineup and I will once again be listening closely on his at-bats.
